ABOUT: Complimentary Consultations
Here are the top 5 questions we are asked about complimentary consultations:
Why do you offer complimentary consultations? If you're not certain if therapy can help you or you'd like to learn more about a specific treatment or therapy, a consultation is the way to go! It's a chance for you to sit down face-to-face with a skilled, caring therapist and discuss your issue or condition. By asking questions and learning about the therapy process, why it works and what results you may expect, a consultation allows you to make informed decisions about your healthcare.
How long are the consultations ? A consultation will usually run about 15 minutes but it depends on the treatment or therapy. For example, a consultation about the Lordex® Spine System may run about 30 minutes.
What if I decide I don't want therapy? Please be assured there is absolutely no committment on your part by having a complimentary consultation. If therapy isn't the most effective option for you, we will help you with resources that can address your condition or issue.
Do I need orders from a physician ? No. There is no charge to you or your insurance for a consultation so orders are not needed. Sometimes, a physician will refer you to ProRehab for a consultation but it is not necessary.
How do I schedule a consultation? Simply call ProRehab at (701) 451-9417 to schedule your consultation. If you have been recommended to see a specific therapist, make sure to let us know.

INSURANCE FAQ's
Many medical insurance caps and deductibles reset at the beginning of the calendar year. For example, the new Medicare Part B 'caps' or limits for 2010 are $1860 (for outpatient physical therapy and speech pathology combined) and $1860 (for outpatient occupational therapy). However, you may qualify for an exception to therapy limits if deemed medically necessary.
Each insurance company differs when it comes to plans and coverage for services, including physical and occupational therapy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance company or companies at the beginning of each year so you can be aware of any changes or updates in your medical coverage. And remember, the friendly staff at ProRehab is always here to help. For a list of Frequently Asked Questions, please click here!
